let's go camping.

Well, Jessica Lynn is 23 years old as of yesterday. We celebrated at the beach--it was gorgeous outside. 80 and breezy with not a cloud in the sky. Later we went to dinner and then to the Cambridge House. From what I can remember, a fun time was had by all, especially Jess. We topped off the night at the gay bar where we watched a drag show, the birthday girl got a lapdance and I actually danced without complaint. Shocking, I know.

For Jess's birthday, we're seeing Ani Difranco in July at Frederick Meijer Gardens, which will make it my fourth time and her second time. You'd think I'd get sick of her, but you'd be wrong. Ani that is, not Jess.

This summer is shaping up nicely, my family is going to take a vacation the second week of August and I am going to be a camp counselor for a week, at the camp I've been to my entire life. I've never counselled before in my entire life, but I figure if I want to become a highschool teacher, I ought to see if I can actually stand highschoolers. Besides my brother, I haven't been around a highschooler since I was one. I know all of the other counsellors except for one, so I'm sure it will be fun. I hope it will.

I feel like I really need to go camping right now. I mean, not this second, I have to go to work soon, but lately that's all I feel like doing.
